The View from my Side of The Food Truck

As a Board Member, frequent volunteer and family of the founders, I can say I know FFOJ well. The mission is clear and the goals admirable, but it is an altogether more humbling and fruitful experience to serve on the van and see the impact of daily relationship building and bread breaking with those in our community.


Those that we have to pleasure to serve and serve alongside provide life-changing stories, experiences and renewed hope and joy that I have yet to find anywhere else.

Food For Our Journey provides an outlet for those looking to serve, and finds a root of a massive struggle in our community.…

And just for a brief moment, alleviated hunger and the relationships formed mean more than anything else in the world.


You can see the impact possible in our own community, while both giving and receiving joy, hope and vital resources to those who need it, while finding out you were in need, too.
